Module 8: Observing and scoring germination
- Children are required to record the germination trials set up in the previous experiments and analyse them scientifically, plotting their results for discussion.
- They should then draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the different conditions used during the germination experiments and discuss what this means in a real-life situation e.g. seed storage for farmers.
- A final phase requires potting or re potting plants and moving them to the greenhouse or the garden for growing on.
