Module 6: Seeds and seed dispersal
- The focus here is on the different types of seed dispersal (e.g. wind, animals, water) and how dispersal is connected to form and function.
- The children are asked to observe the different form / shapes of seeds (and fruits) and make hypotheses about the specific dispersal mechanism.
- They then make simple models based on their hypotheses using a range of materials.
